Who we are.
Autolift & Equipment Service is a California State Certified Small Business Enterprise specializing in automotive shop equipment: heavy duty lifts, hydraulic lifts, alignment equipment, tire changers, wheel balancers, brake lathes, wash systems, air compressors, lubrication equipment, overhead cranes and more.
We are licensed to perform annual OSHA required safety inspections on lifts, air compressors, overhead cranes and related equipment. Autolift has served Southern California since 1939 and has since expanded to cover all of California. We have our own trained and experienced team — installers, service technicians and certified inspectors — rather than subcontractors.
About 90% of our work comes from referrals. In an industry where a bad installation shows up as a safety failure years later, that number is the one we pay attention to.

- Capacity to 640,000 lbs, and experience under transit buses and light rail cars that very few companies in California have.

We run scheduled service routes out of Los Alamitos across six Southern California counties, and travel statewide for heavy duty, transit and rail projects.
